Many parents report that their children have difficulty making friends and maintaining friendships. This workshop addresses the reasons our kids have difficulty in this area, and how parents can help their children learn friendship skills. We take parents step by step through the whole process, from the types of friendships, to where to meet potential friends, to planning a get-together with a friend. We cover the skills children need to socialize successfully, and what to do when conflicts arise in a friendship. Special attention will also be paid to your experience as a parent guiding your child.
